Music IIL Beware of Darkness by George Harrison

What a great song to use in weapons. I was instantly captivated by the song and the way it was used in the movie. Totally gave me a sense of dread, melancholy, and helplessness. The entire album “all things must pass” is incredible and I should have listened to it sooner actually lol. So anything like those songs.

Suggestions?

George Harrison’s Early Takes Volume 1 has some nice ones on there that would compare

I just found “let it be me” on that album. I use to play that song on violin when I was a kid in orchestra. How funny, haven’t thought of that song in forever.

Concrete Blonde has a cover of it. It’s from before they really came into their own as a band, but I enjoy it. Johnette Napolitano does some nice belting toward the end.

Joe Cocker's cover version is even better.

As is Leon Russell's.

Great song/album for sure. Maybe: Don’t fear the reaper by Blue Oyster Cult?

I like the Pink Floyd song. I thought songs from dark side of the moon also had similar sounds and themes.
