Vent & Rant Accidentally hit on my boss on Hinge
I was frustrated with not getting matches on Hinge, so I started mindlessly liking profiles without paying much attention. I ended up sending a message before my brain even registered the name and photo—only to realize afterward that it was my boss, who’s 29. The message I had sent? “You look amazing in that dress, though I suspect it wasn’t made to stay on for long when you meet me.”

Dont delete hinge. Just communicate with respect to her in hinge. Assure her it was by mistake. Will keep the conversation only in hinge. When you meet her in person act normally. Don't do anything wiered or over act. Be normal. If you gain her trust in that way, there are high chances that you ll date her after 2 weeks. ( Did it happen in real? Or Is this your wild dream or karma farm?)

She was 'active' at the moment. Deleting Hinge didnt cross my mind at the moment, but I don't think it would have helped. Also, I have a lot of matches there.
She did match with me (didn't reply) and I apologized on the app itself - again nothing extremely formal. No reply there again.

I was doing internship and downloaded Tinder out of boredom. My first match was my 32yo boss LoL and he had set-up very meticulously put profile. The guy was in a relationship with boss-2, she was an intern pervious year in the company.

Slightly off topic but something related to a colleague happened with me on hinge as well. There's this one colleague (will call her X for better understanding) who I think I wouldn't mind hanging out with outside work if it comes to that . Another friend of mine in office told me X does have a bf because apparently she overheard her talking about it to someone. I'm in decent touch with X in the sense, that we talk and go well whenever we run into each other at work.
2 weeks in, I now have X's profile showing on the app and I just don't know what to do! A part of me tells me that a short, casual, not coming across desperate kind of a message will do nothing bad and may trigger a conversation ( like perhaps a "hey! Didn't expect to run into you here! How's it going?😊) types, whereas the other half of me is scared worrying about extreme negative consequences of her showing it to some random colleague and then being mocked/laughed at. I'm also internally aware she's outside my league and probably has 100 hotter dudes lurking in her profile so I technically, do not have a shot
Since I'm already friendly with her , I fear the latter happening has less chances but yeah, it's keeping me worried nevertheless. And maybe I'm over buying into it, I also do not want to let go of this one chance which maybe, just maybee give me a chance to see her outside of work. What dilemma. Rest assured, I know there are going to be people who say things like "don't hookup where you vlookup" but in all seriousness, I am not upto anything creepy, or anything that comes across as desperate. You definitely didnt do it out of accident. Everyone remembers their boss's face. And sending such a big text without seeing the pics is equally ignorant.
And you can always just remove your pics from your profile, remove your bio and you can delete your account. So that the next person doesnt find out your identity. But looks like you want to have fun with it.

Update 2 - when I saw her at the ffice passing by, she just smirked at me. I was pretty calm afterwards. I met her and explained the situation. She said that's the most creative line she had received on Hinge. And so I took the chance and asked her "coffee this evening?" she agreed and the night ended with us making out.
