Question about backgroundchecks

I had a pretty good interview the other day, but I was asked about a background check and if anything unusual would come up. I told them, "like a criminal record or something? No, I dont have a criminal record". Now I just realized that car accidents come up on a background check and I happened to have 3 accidents within a few years, 3-4 years ago. Should I email them, and say I didnt think to mention that I had a bunch of car accidents within a few years of each other?

None of the accidents were my fault, one of them even occured while I was parked and not even in my car. They seemed pretty friendly about everything saying that they dont have a problem hiring ex-cons, people deserve a second chance. What do you guys think? Should I email them or just let it be? Interview was 3 days ago

Honestly, if the accidents weren't your fault and weren't asked specifically about during the interview, it's not necessary to bring them up in an email. Background checks usually focus on criminal records, so you're likely fine. If they do inquire further, you can clarify then, but for now, letting it be is reasonable.

Unless the job requires a clean driving record, its not a big deal.
