Can someone please help me understand CLRG and CRDM. Which is better? Which will offer more opportunities ? Currently part of CRDM.

CLRG is global and has a higher standard of competition, CRDM is a less competitive standard and is based in the UK and Ireland only.

CRDM is not UK and Ireland only. There is a USA branch.

CLRG has more schools, more in-person competition opportunities, and more history in the USA. It is more widely recognized worldwide. That said, some people have negative feelings toward it due to politics, dishonesty, and culture. I think that's part of what happens when you're the only game in town for a very long time, cheating in competition is real, and favoritism and capitalism exist.
Look at the qualifications for teachers and the feis opportunities that are near you with each affiliation to see if they match what you are looking for.

I love CRDM they are a great organisation but in the US it's not the same, would involve a lot of travel and is not as competitive. CRDM in the UK and Ireland do not allow their dancers to dance out (I.e. compete in other open platform orgs) but I don't know if that's the case for CRDM USA/RTN. As an open platform dancer and a massive fan of open platform itself, it pains to me say you'd have a lot more competitive opportunities in CLRG in the US.
