General Nasty weather headed this way.

Here is the Isle Royale Lake Superior forecast through Tuesday. As of now The Queen IV has canceled tomorrow's ferry and the Ranger III is canceled tomorrow as well and is now scheduled to come to the island Saturday with a Sunday Departure

I know, because I just escaped on the last plane out! It was rough, indeed. Hiked the minong in gale force winds, rain pelting us, temps in the low 40s. It was an exciting trip for sure!

We have our flight to the island tomorrow. No notice yet of cancelation or delays. Fingers crossed!!!

We had our flight cancelled 30 minutes prior to the time we needed to be at the take off location.

If you're flying out of Rock Harbor find the seaplane employee, he should be by the flight board or down by the seaplane dock. They will be able to give you info about what's happening back on the mainland.

What are the chances of the Ranger III cancelling Saturday?

In my opinion, chances are high the Ranger III will come out Saturday as planned.

Do they provide barf bags or do you have to BYOBB?

Friday's flight was easy. A little turbulence at take off but otherwise it was smooth
