The site is either slow or it just says “There was an error with your request”

The pics explains that it was added to blocked internet sites. I checked and it doesn't open for me without using VPN. I don't know how many of you are from Russia but I think it is important to know.

Hi, I'm the founder of the Godot Collaborative Game Jam Community.
We make games together as a team. In our first collaboration experiment we made a single game with as many contributors as possible.
Our next challenge: releasing 33 games in 100 days on Itchio, from September 15th until Christmas Eve!
How? By working on multiple games simultaneously in teams. We have already started developing a number of games during the last 2 weeks in order to have at least one finished by the 15th.
This is all of us against the deadline. Not a competition like your regular Game Jam. Some of our contributors work on multiple teams at the same time. With so many games to make everybody is welcome to pitch a game idea and even lead that project, no prior experience required.
It's a great way to rapidly grow your portfolio in a fun but goal-oriented environment and learn about the workflow in game development teams. All our games are non-commercial and open-source. The code is under the MIT license and our assets under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.
We are rapidly growing but are always looking for more contributors in all areas: programmers, 2d/3d artists, composers, sound designers, narrative designers, voice artists and game designers .
You can simply hop on our open-door Discord Server to see what we're doing - no commitment required and no strings attached! Of course, I'm happy to answer any questions in here or via DM, too.

Hi, I just sent the build of my game on itch.io, and it's not available to be downloaded.
Do I need to wait for someone to check on the game before it get released or do i need to do something?

Would love to get some feedback on the onboarding experience for the mechanics and difficulty of my game. (There are tons of subsystems, aiming, recoil, suppression, boldness, alertness, fear, officers, etc)
Please leave a rating if you enjoyed and definitely leave feedback if you think things can be improved.
This is a tribute to all those fantastic games of my generations youth, like Cannon Fodder, General Chaos, Metal Slug, Chaos Engine, Z, North & South and Command & Conquer. Tiny Soldiers duking it out. With a modern influence from Hotline Miami on brutal but satisfying combat mastery, all packed in a retro modern juicy style. I hope you enjoy a bit of action loaded nostalgia.

Comparing to steam, how good was your indie game launch on itchio? Is it good for niche games?
Pardon if it was debated previously, looking for fresh insights

I am a developer and post games on itch.
One of my games was relatively popular and I ended up getting 250 new followers. However, I haven’t noticed any increase in views or plays for the projects I’ve posted since then.
So, my question is, what is the purpose of followers and following? It doesn’t seem like they see my projects regardless.
Give it a play, let me know what you think!
My first game has been teetering on the edge of 100 plays for about a week, if anyone is up for a quick blast of retro Space Invaders shooting with a split-screen twist please give it a go and help bring me some inner peace.
I think someone who enjoys very old arcade games and/or competitive falling block games like Puyo Puyo, Dr Mario, Bust-a-Move might like it - would massively appreciate any feedback and also really interested to hear how far people get in the Challenge mode.
Thank you!

Pixel Icons is a growing collection of 28x28 pixel art logos free for your personal and commercial projects.
They are perfect size for Twitch emotes!
This first version includes 13 different logos with 3 variations and some cool bonuses!
After almost three weeks my game just reached 6000 players. Part of that is because a youtuber (HouseBox) made two videos about my game.
I thought I would share since I find the impact super interesting. The youtube videos have a little bit more than 200k views which roughly translates to 2600 people on the game page and each video corresponds to a spike on the graph.
HouseBox if you ever see this, thank you! HouseBox video 1, HouseBox video 2 (both videos are not in english).
