That's unprofessional IMO to send thru a text. Should be a phone call if getting fired or email

I’d rather it be in text. Much easier to show unemployment that you were laid off due to no hours.

It's the fact it's a text, not email. They couldn't have done that if they had no cell either 😆. Text is just not professional level

Yeah you’re right about it being unprofessional. OP having a cell phone is already known knowledge though.
