Judo black belts should automatically be BJJ blue belts when they cross over
3 u/gamerdad227 shodan Jun 07 '25 This would probably be an unpopular opinion in America due to the low base of judo, but I feel like it’s common elsewhere. I switched to BJJ and it took me 6 months to feel like I caught up to the blue belts.
