General Training Drills to do when you have a broken foot

Hey guys recently I broke my foot in judo practice and can’t bear any weight for the mean time……..what are some drills I can do to keep me in shape (judo specifically)? I’ve been doing push ups and sit ups but want to find other ways to strengthen my grips and so on.

Bro rest lol. If you really wnat to do something you could do pull ups (VERY carefully to not slam the foot on the way down) or look into one of those grip trainers

Rest and recover your broken foot. If you really want to do something do upper body workouts that involve sitting or lying down

GIVE YOUR FOOT REST, if you wanna still train something push ups and situps are good, for grip strength you can get those squeezers or if those are to expensive, tennis balls will work as well

If you're in a boot you can maybe try to get some weight room in while your foot heals up. Don't hit any leg exercises that will put pressure on your foot though obviously. Reverse curls are insane for grip strength if you're looking to improve that.

For grip/forearm strength alongside finger mobility, I was recommended to do this after I broke my finger by another user. Aside from that I would rest, by focusing on training too hard anywhere else you’re restricting the amount of healing for your fracture, because your body has to then share the load in also to repair and restore.
