🚨 STOLEN VEHICLE ALERT 🚨

My 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan was stolen last night from in front of my house in Borden Ave Downtown.

📍 Location stolen from: Gordon and Borden 🕒 Timeframe: Night of Aug 14th 🚗 Vehicle details: • 2012 VW Tiguan • Color: Silver • License plate: XR9 97E

U leave it running? How was it stolen.

According to google, while newer cars can’t be hotwired they can still be hacked with specialized tools, or stolen with tow trucks. One of those is probably the case.

A 2012 Tiguan is not gettin towed for value. So that leaves 2 situations.

Op said they left their spare key in the car. I think the mystery is solved.

I am pretty sure it was locked. But I had the spare key inside the glovebox.
