Question [KCD2] I'm on PS5 and I own the expansion pass, but can't access the Legacy of the Forge DLC. Any idea why?

So I've updated the game, however It's not letting me download the addon from the PS store. It's not in my owned content for the game either, and when I start the game up, it prompts me to buy the DLC, but upon clicking it, it just goes to the store and says its unavailable due to me owning the expansion pass.

Any of you fine folks having the same problem? If so, has anyone found a fix for this?

Question [KCD2] is it just me or does Henry seem….behind in the race sometimes?

I just always find myself chuckling in conversation cutscenes because he reminds me of the one friend that’ll laugh like 5 minutes after the joke gets told bc he didn’t understand it at first. Plus he always has a slight tism stare(i am also tism-ed). Gotta love Henry and his 2 brain cells😭😭

[KCD2] John of Liechtenstein appreciation post

I'm on my third playthough in preparations for the legacy of the forge DLC. Whilst playing I finally had the attention span (my brain has been rotting because of youtube shorts) to focus on the plot and what the characters are saying. John of Liechtenstein, during the mission where you play as Godwin, in a meeting with lords, carried the entire procedure. Not only that, he had pieces prepared to secure a W for the supporters of King Wenceslas. But the GOAT, made sure to make everyone think it was Jobst's idea. Making Jobst take all the credit.

This man was asked why he is doing all this, and he responds with "I want to put an end to all this senseless deaths" or something like that. Truly this man is the GOAT, and carried the war in the diplomats side of things.

Discussion [KCD2] My personal experience about “Hansry” Spoiler

[Long post] I just finished KCD2 in time for the new DLC and honestly, what an incredible journey. I truly hope it wins GOTY (though we all know how those awards usually go 🙄).

About the romance, I want to share something very personal: in the first game, I chose not to pursue any romance at all, specifically to wait for Hans in the sequel. After finishing KCD1, I jumped straight into KCD2, and the wait was absolutely worth it.

The relationship with Hans Capon felt like one of the most genuine and well-written romances I’ve seen in an RPG. The progression from rivalry to trust, and ultimately that final scene… wow. The way Hans tries to express his feelings through the story of Lancelot and Galehaut was perfect: it reflected the urgency of wanting to voice something forbidden in that era, but it came across as deeply sincere and human.

I get that Warhorse aims for historical accuracy, and things like Hanush pressuring Hans into marriage make sense in that context. But at the same time, its still an RPG, and I think having player choice is what makes these experiences so personal. Regardless, the way Hans’ story was handled was beautiful, thoughtful, and genuinely moving.

I checked out the other romance options, and while Katherine and Rosa are fine, they felt more lust-driven to me. With Hans, there was real growth, mutual care, and emotional vulnerability. It wasn’tjust passion, it was a layered relationship that actually left an impact.

I don’t want to invalidate anyone else’s choice, everyone enjoys RPGs differently, but for me, Hans’ path felt the most authentic and heartfelt. I honestly hate crying in games, but this one got me (just like Mass Effect 3 or BG3 with Gale did back in the day). I’m really thankful Warhorse went this route and gave us such a powerful storyline. Kudos!

Discussion [KCD2] How would you introduce the Lethean Water in a potential upcoming game?

Post image
478 Upvotes

For potential spoiler reasons I had to make the title somewhat vage, because I don't really wanna straight out ask you guys "How would you have Henry (knowingly/unknowingly) consume a Lethean Water potion at the start of KCD3?"

So if you haven't started playing KCD2 and/or haven't beaten it - don't read this post or it's comments, because there's for SURE gonna be spoilers here.

I really love how they handled Henry's transition between KCD1 and KCD2. It's hands down one of the best events I've seen happen in a game to make the quote on quote "nerf" for the main character make sense. It was so smooth and so sneaky. It's always a thing I think about going to sequel games.

Like why doesn't Batman have all of his tools or Spider-Man all of his abilities since last? Nothing changed, so it should all be the same, right? In the end it never really matters, but it's always something I wonder; how are they gonna do it?

And Warhorse really nailed it. I didn't expect it, but then I was like "wait, isn't a Lethean Water the.. Oh!" and it was such a laugh. But anyhow.. How would you imagine Warhorse nerfing Henry in KCD3, if we assume they're gonna use a Lethean Water again?
