Banner: division of labour

All right. The basis we are working from is this banner. Various minor modifications are still being discussed, but I think we should give each contributor some freedom in drawing "his" section, rather than endlessly spamming details and trying to get a consensus on absolutely everything.

With that in mind, let's try to divide some tasks. I need volunteers for several different sections. I will update this post with usernames as people pick a section.

Let the volunteering begin!

The deadline for contributions is Friday 23:59 CEST, so don't wait too long with picking a section and drawing it.

All right, there is shot in the case! I uploaded a very rough outline of the final sketch (see link in OP), which includes the "extended zones".

We still need volunteers for the flea market and the background row of houses, but for the rest everything's assigned.

/u/vanderZwan has claimed the flea market, and unless anyone else volunteers, I'll take the minimum banner's background (cityscape).

I hope either /u/Pimmeh or /u/XeyBlazey wants to draw the gracht we'll be using on both sides, so I can combine it with the cityscape background and make the colonial section (which is opposite to the drunk tourists, e.g. right gracht instead of the gracht on the left).

Hold up, hold up. I did not claim the flea market! I mean, if I had the time I might, but I don't :/. Today, tomorrow and Saturday I have a full schedule I'm afraid

Just managed to find a few spare hours to draw something, and I figured it would make little sense to expect someone else to draw my joke while I draw something else.

I probably have some time this afternoon after all, so I'll try to come up with a few small flea market gags too.

Let's just choose the nice bits and mash it together in the end.

If you could make the grachten (or rather, one gracht with a copied mirror), that'd be great!

Please let me know ASAP. I have to draw the colonials in the gracht on the right, so I'd love to have it by Friday night.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'll draw the gracht myself. Please do the flea market if you can. I'll keep room for both the market, royal couple, drunk tourists and colonials.
