I live in a new apartment (I own it) and I have ethernet routed through my walls. However, I have the issue that to connect one room I actually need 2 cables to run to the outlet. The outlet has two ports, just only one is used.

I am hoping that an electrician or internet installer can use the existing cable and hook a second cable through the wall. I don't want to try and do this myself, as it could be a huge mess.

Can you advise me on an electrician or internet installer that has experience with routing cables through walls? I basically want a professional's advice/appraisal to decide if it's worth doing (I don't want to smash open the walls if I can avoid it).

Niedawno wprowadziłem się do Krakowa. Znam centum turystyczne, natomiast brakuje mi takich "osobistych" miejsc. Nieobleganych przez turystów i mniej znanych kawiarni, czy restauracji. Miejsc, gdzie bywają głównie "lokalsi".

Czy mógłby ktoś polecić mi ciekawe ulice/miejsca, które powinienem odwiedzić żeby poznać Kraków od podszewki, a nie tylko jak typowy turysta?

Będę także bardzo wdzięczny za informację o miejscach, których lepiej nie odwiedzać, o ile takie jeszcze istnieją.

I’ve been travelling for eight weeks now and will be in Krakow next week. I plan on eating the hell out of plenty of Polish food (even doing a cooking class) but NGL - I am CRAVING a good banh mi. A proper Vietnamese kick-me-in-the-face-with-chilli banh mi.

Couple of questions:

As a solo diner, will I be out of place in a themed restaurant? I usually sit at the bar on such occasions, but not sure if that's an option here.

Do I need reservations? They only seem to have a Facebook page and not a website, so I assume I could send them a message there to inquire about reservations. Just curious if anyone has first hand experience just walking up on any given night.

I recently moved to Kraków (about 3 months ago) and am looking for a job in a kitchen, whether as a dishwasher, kitchen assistant, or cook/chef. I have over 2 years of kitchen experience, speak fluent English, and have all the necessary work permits.

I’ve applied to several jobs online (OLX) but haven’t received any replies yet. Would it be more effective to visit restaurants in person? Any advice, tips, or leads would be greatly appreciated.

In the meantime, I’m considering working with ERES taxi/Uber until I find a kitchen position, but I’m not sure if it’s a good option.
