Older cameras could sometimes produce very good quality images. This photo for example was taken during or sometime prior to 1958. But it looks like it could have come from a modern camera.

I know, i checked your source and i do not think you did anything wrong! I am Dutch and i was surprised by the spelling of the names. It wouldn't make sense in either Dutch or German. I'm guessing the website made a mistake. The website i used is Dutch-Jewish and i think that one would be right. I once looked up the definition of genocide and it’s surprisingly broad. Several countries I can name are committing genocide right this moment and for the most part no one outside those countries really cares. International intervention tends to happen only if that genocide crosses borders forcing other countries to get involved.

If Germany had just killed all the Jews within its pre-1939 borders and not tried to conquer Europe and kill the Jews elsewhere on the continent, the rest of the world would have probably let them do that.

There’s that scene in Irena's Vow where the SS officer stomps a baby to death then shoots the mother. At first I was starting to think it was over the top but then had to have a hard reality check for myself. Stomping a baby to death and then shooting the mother would have been a minor affair for a member of the SS compared to the other shit they were doing.
