A refugee camp everyone:-

On 17 or 18 December 2023, the Israeli military launched an airstrike on Nuseirat refugee camp that hit Abu Samra's home,[3][11] killing her sister Roseanne.

Israel is unable to commit war crime as they are to moral for that. Additionally if you inform them of such crimes you are antisemitic. They will speak to you of Iran’s nuclear program but would not like to speak about their own nuclear weapons program. And we fund this most likely because our gov is full of greedy pedo as proven in the Epstein files. But nothing to see moving right along. Let’s play genocide bingo.

They've been seeing themselves as victims so long that they don't realize they're now the victimizers. They've become militarized in reaction to their own trauma, and now they've forgotten their humanity. A century ago, the world had empathy for them, but now their actions have made them outcasts for anyone with morals. Had they returned to their "promised land" as fellow children of Abraham and lived alongside the people of the land without the need to own and dominate it, they could have built a pluralistic society. Instead, they took the worst instincts they'd learned from colonialism and facism and became pariahs of the global community. Israel and Israelis are victims of their own depravity. The world learned the lesson of "never again" and it now refers to what Israel is doing.

“They’ve become militarized in reaction to their own trauma”

Saving this comment to my notes because you’ve so articulately explained the things that I struggle to explain.

The point about trauma is really interesting and something that I haven’t considered, but really should have. I’ve studied and now work in fields where we see regularly intergenerational trauma — in Australia, the impacts of colonisation and cultural genocide against First Nations people are ongoing and manifest in desperately sad ways. And now I feel naïve for the way I’ve thought about trauma because we’re often taught that abused individuals can become abusers, but I’ve never thought about it on a large scale like with Israel. But it makes perfect sense.
