She should have never been cast as one of the love island members after disclosing she already suffered from mental health problems. The entertainment industry only care about views and money and use these vulnerable people for their own selfish reasons then throw them to the wolves when the show ends. RIP Sophie Gradon

Dude, mental health problems made her a prime candidate. Mentally stable people don’t get reality shows. You need the drama, and attention seeking at all costs mentality.

This was actually my first season watching Love Island. I can understand how being on a show like this could take a serious toll on someone’s mental health. Contestants risk everything for fame and the fan bases can be incredibly toxic. After seeing that, I do not think I will be watching Love Island again.

And she disclosed to them in casting that she had mental health issues and severe episodes of depression etc. in the past. She should never have been cast, but I guess the producers thought she’d be someone who would react quite dramatically to anything happening to her.

Just read this
“According to an inquest in April 2019, Gradon died by suicide after taking cocaine and alcohol.[18] About 20 days after her death, Gradon's boyfriend Aaron Armstrong also died by suicide as inquest revealed he couldn’t cope without her.[19]”

This is so, so sad. A beautiful smile but it doesn't quite reach her eyes.
