Depending on your course a laptop is more helpful than refill pad

One of my notes documents from 1st semester has about 40 pages

Honestly a note book with dividers ,a multi pocket folder ,A pack of pens , couple highlighters and a calculator depending on the course I’m going into my final year and I’m not bringing anything else you just don’t need all the random stuff people buy

Yup if you need anything specific the lecturers will tell you

You will need a laptop. That's it really. Some pens and a copybook if you like taking physical notes.

It's been over 10 years since I went to college and even then everything was online. All communications are online. All assignments are given online and submitted online except a select few (which I presume nowadays are online too).

You could probably walk into college with nothing more than a pen and notebook and be fine for a few weeks. All you need is a refill pad with dividers (as others have said already) and some pens. And you will probably need a laptop or an ipad with a keyboard at some stage. In my course one lecturer would recommend books for a module but none of us ever got them and we were grand because we just learned the material that she provided for us online. But in other courses it might be a different story im not sure

Depends what youre doing but generally all you need is something to write on, a pen (multicolour if you want to be extra organised), some highlighters and a laptop. If you prefer typing your notes then all you need is a laptop i think but its always good to have a notepad and some pens incase you’re drawing a diagram or doing some brainstorming for group work

First week, you could bring absolutely nothing and be fine. As mentioned above you'll likely want a laptop or tablet as most material, i.e. lecture slides, tutorial/lab exercises and assignments will be distributed over some web portal (phone works but can get annoying)

If your course needs textbooks you'll likely be given a list in first week or 2, many courses have no mandatory textbooks though.

Bring a notepad and pen for note taking / completing exercises in tutorials.

You'll be fine, uni starts slow for this exact reason.

Nothing basically. Like I'm hoping to do Comp Sci so basically all I need there is a laptop. It really depends on the course but a laptop/tablet is the most important.
