I feel like the master water bender who can perform advanced techniques like moisture bending and invented a new bending art effectively could properly be useful without blood bending

She would be good if there was no other water around, sure, but Ming-hua is a better fighter, and i am making the bold assumption that water won't be in scarce enough supply.

But still, even in 1 episode, she demonstrated many techniques, which certainly makes her very valuable.

If it adapted so well and remained so good despite the lack of water, imagine what it would be like in land with lots of water ☠️

This could just be my own faulty memory, but she is just sucking water out of plants and merging them into blasts. Even then, she isn't necessarily that strong (or, at least, Katara is really strong).

Maybe I just hold the other water benders in higher regard since Hama's whole shtick was the blood bending thing. Excellent for the narrative, though.

No, in the fight with Katara she demonstrated a lot of precision and skill, and, frankly, her learning and developing these skills of taking water from the air and creatures and manipulating blood on her own is really something that is not for everyone.

Fair enough. No denying her skill, but she is locked out of a good chunk of her more devastating arts by the lack of a full moon. In terms of raw, general performance, I just dont see her being as effective, is all.

We probably won't agree, but I appreciate your view on it.
