Traveling through Poland, Visiting Łódź tomorrow and staying for a few of days

Hey everyone :) I'm (28M from Germany) currently travelling through Poland, looking at interesting places and trying to meet other nice people along the way. Unfortunately I'm not very good at getting to know people irl (yay for social anxiety) so I'm hoping to meet someone here who might want to hang out and do something together. I already met 2 geat people when i was staying in Bydgoszcz for a few days so I'm hoping to do the same here again :)

As any good tourist I also have a couple or touristy questions of course :D

Edit: Sorry forgot to mention that i already picked some places i want to see (the obvious touristy ones of course) so I'm not asking anyone to plan my trip for me :D

Are there any places in particular that you would recommend going to that normally tourists don't really go to ? Can be anything like museums, flea markets, restaurants or other nice places in nature like hiking trails for example.

What is the situation with parking like in the city ? I'm most likely going to stay at a campsite a bit outside of the city near DK72 so I have to go to the city by car unfortunately.

Thank you to anyone in advance for maybe reaching out. I'm happy to hear from anyone.

I honestly recommend you go to any other city cause Łódź is a shithole, I'll get downvoted by delusional people from Łódź - but you'll see by yourself. The city is a meme. Rundown, dirty and poor. Go see Toruń, Poznań or Wrocław.

Gdybym był bardzo złośliwy, bym stwierdził, że z Warszawy, ale to po prostu jakiś frustrat ;).

Frustrat? Warszawa? Brzmi jak Wilanów.

So i have probably walked through the city for about 25km now. Not just the main shopping street but also side streets / back alley's. I can definitely see why you are saying that. For context. Hamburg is my measurement for "rundown and dirty" and its pretty high up on the list. As for Lodz that doesn't mean it bothers me though. Actually the main streets (especially the main shopping one and the factory mall thing) almost seem artificial and not very welcoming to me. When walking there and looking at all the stores i don't really feel drawn into any of them. I feel the same about Poznan but with the added annoyance that the town square is basically one huge tourist trap. Wroclaw is pretty good actually but i have only ever walked around there with someone who also lives there. We'll see how i like it when I'm alone. Torun i unfortunately skipped because i got annoyed with that stupid pre booking thing for their gingerbread museum so i just said fuck it and didn't go there at all (even though i was already pretty close since i was in Bydgoszcz before)
