Traveling through Poland, Visiting Łódź tomorrow and staying for a few of days

Hey everyone :) I'm (28M from Germany) currently travelling through Poland, looking at interesting places and trying to meet other nice people along the way. Unfortunately I'm not very good at getting to know people irl (yay for social anxiety) so I'm hoping to meet someone here who might want to hang out and do something together. I already met 2 geat people when i was staying in Bydgoszcz for a few days so I'm hoping to do the same here again :)

As any good tourist I also have a couple or touristy questions of course :D

Edit: Sorry forgot to mention that i already picked some places i want to see (the obvious touristy ones of course) so I'm not asking anyone to plan my trip for me :D

Are there any places in particular that you would recommend going to that normally tourists don't really go to ? Can be anything like museums, flea markets, restaurants or other nice places in nature like hiking trails for example.

What is the situation with parking like in the city ? I'm most likely going to stay at a campsite a bit outside of the city near DK72 so I have to go to the city by car unfortunately.

Thank you to anyone in advance for maybe reaching out. I'm happy to hear from anyone.

I left Germany 9 years ago and live in Warsaw 😁 Been back twice since then to visit my parents and brother but got depressed as soon as I crossed the border. zoo+fala 109PLN

But you can buy the ticket there, don’t have to buy online.

Oh nice :D actually after Lodz i was thinking about going to Warsaw as well. If you want we could hang out for a bit. Thanks but I'll definitely buy the ticket in person... Buying online is way more hassle than its worth xD

Make a revolut bank account so you can pay by BLIK here, it is used everywhere. Blik is something like you go into your bank app, click on blik and it shows you 6 numbers which you enter online or local to pay and just accept it on your phone. Really useful because you can buy tickets, parking fees etc etc using blik.

Yeah sure let me know when you come to warsaw. I’ve got a few flats here too 😁

Let me know if you need a place to stay.

Yeah I've seen blink in action a couple of times when i was here before and it's really convenient :) The thing is I'm probably only going to be in Poland until the end of the month before moving on the Czech, Slovakia and wherever else. For such a short time it kinda doesn't make any sense but if I'd stay here any longer than that I'd definitely do it.

Ok cool I'll definitely let you know :D
