SEASON 1 Settle an argument for me
Me and my buddy were watching episodes 2-4 of S1 last night, and he's convinced that John Locke audibly said "legs, move" to get his legs to move. I think he's tweaking but idk

john locke is actually iron man, what he really says is "jarvis divert power to legs, if anyone asks just say spooky island magic"

I loved that one scene where he goes “I…am…John Locke.”

If only there was a way you could find out.

I mean yeah I could go back and rewatch, but I also know there's a subreddit of nerds who could tell me the answer

I always put on subtitles as I find the music in shows is way too loud and if there's dialogue in the midst of the blaring score, no way I'm catching what was said. I've been shocked at some things I'd completely miss if not for CC.

Maybe that's Locke's version of "wiggle your big toe".
/I'm sure your friend misheard, though/

In what scene? Like when he’s getting up for the first time? There’s music playing I think, maybe he read his lips and he’s like, grunting but looks like he’s saying that?

It's Locke's colleague who says "move - you've got to move, colonel" when they're playing the board game during their break. :) The sound from his flashback overlaps with the image we see on screen (of Locke looking at his feet after the boar attacked). But I'd say the fact that we're seeing Locke unable to move on the island is definitely an intentional connection - it makes for a cute transition to the flashback scene.

He definitely did not say that.
