Kurona is Konata who lost 20 games in row and in deep mental stuation.

Its more of a realistic depiction of konata as otaku are more shut-ins and don't have many friends. (Not all just summarising)

Kurokona is a fan-made alternate version of Konata Izumi, depicted as a shy and lonely jimiko (which means quiet girl), she was created on 2chan by an unknown anonymous user. There's a fanfic based on Kurokona called, "Unlucky Star", in this fanfic, Kurokona has no friends and is living with her abusive aunt because her mother died and her father abandoned her, she dreamed of a better life where she's called Konata and has friends.
