Feeling full

A family member who is recently diagnosed, recently started complaining about feeling full, pants feeling tight (needing to open buttons) etc. I assumed this was an appetite issue but could it be something else like gas or fluids? Is this something that requires an immediate visit to the oncologist?

Depends on what treatment they are undergoing..need a little more information.

radiation of neck C2 just completed and immunotherapy just started (within 24 hrs). This feeling predates immunotherapy and started at the mid point of radiation. Radiation doc doesn't think it's related to radiation.

I have had stomach issues such as feeling full, more gassy, being bloated etc since being diagnosed. I do not know if it the treatment, medication or connected to the tumour being on the same side as my stomach (the cancer is in my left lung). My mother in law had cancer in her left lung as well and they first thought she had stomach issues so tested for that and found the tumour in her lung by chance. So I don't know for sure, but I've experienced this. Anti sickness medication makes it worse for me.

yep on the left side. Anything that helped you with that feeling full, being bloated?

I think eating little and often has helped the most, so I snack a lot now rather than having big meals. Staying active probably helps, but it's hard for me, and many in this position, as we get exhausted really quickly.

Is he on pain meds, I had to take myself off of move because they were backing me up, and the cramps and bloating were as bad as the pain i was treating.

no, no pain meds. I do wonder if it is constipation as well.
