That’s for all the feedback on my Lobectomy VATS surgery removing the upper right lobe. So much appreciate all the feedback, and can not believe so many folks have had this surgery.

The biggest thing from all the comments was I should 100% go buy a recliner. So that’s what I am going to do!!!! Any more suggestions?????

Ice packs, one of those tools for grabbing things out of reach, a pulse oximeter, and keep a stash of some healthy and not so healthy treats next to your chair. An organizer that holds the tv remote, your smartphone, charger, battery back up, and glasses (if you use them). They'll give you an incentive spirometer. Do use it as directed.

Neck pillow. I used one for sleeping sitting up, and it saved me from neck pain 😊

I did a binge watch one of my faviorate tv shows. 7 seasons of star treck ds9, please dont laugh at me, kind of a nerd with my tv shows. And I had the wedge pillow. All the best to you my friend.

I’m going to get my surgery supposedly but I don’t know how yet they plan to go in. My biopsy was robotic assist. Same thoracic surgeon. I meet with the surgeon mid next month once this final chemo is about done. I’ll get all the 411 on surgery. This is interesting, a recliner huh? I have kept snack stashes during chemo in my bedroom and LR incase and it helped esp during my messed up sleep wake I didn’t want to wake everyone by creeping around for food at 2 am. I use pillows in bed to prop up because I used to have reflux and don’t need that coming back flooding my lungs

Wedge pillow …,not sure if anyone said that. I was able to sleep in bed with it.
