CrossOver CS2 stopped working

So I just installed crossover, and launched CS2. everything was fine but there was a mac buttons on top. To remove it, I went to CS2 settings and changed the display mode to FullScreen from Full Screen Windowed. And then it is just a grey screen and nothing is shown. But the buttons are still physically there because it makes noise when I hover over them. What can I do?

I had the exact same issue recently. In the end I made two changes, though I do not recall which one of them fixed the issue:

• in the bottle config, use D3DMetal iso. Auto
  
• Add these launch options to CS2: -windowed -noborder
