The ending really hurt me. You begin the game as a carusu, a miner boy, a child sold by his father. When you finaly escape you enter the Torissi family and try to become someone. You find a job, friend and even love. You become someone. But in the end you realise you where still nothing to the one you devot your life. I think the only exception are Luca and Isabella (and maybe Cesare). But for the rest, you are still nothing. You don't count. In the end, Don Torissi see you just as is Il Merlo did.

How enzo gonna take the Don daughter v card, knock her up and then run away with her lol that's wrong lol and it was all for nothing he died young af and didn't contribute nothing basically at least with Tommy he ratted but stayed with Sara. It's important to know I love this franchise hell or high water I can't give it a low rating if I tried I give it 8.5/10 but it's important to talk about the problems mostly writing um a big thing is the later chapters alot of us are unhappy with the ending and they could've went better with it. For chapters enzo kept saying he'll find a way for them to be together but didn't do anything and when Luca died the Don said the family owed enzo a great debt which enzo didn't use to his advantage to talk to the Don. Mgv posted a video about it and he was using the sarah situation but you can't because that's decades later and in American and this is in Sicily with different customs and culture. Another thing is the Baron son after his father died didn't basically have any power so what was the point of marrying Isabella off to him and they made the Don irrational towards the end. People have said other things like why would enzo trust Cesare after he tried to kill him which is another problem and let's go back to when Luca trained enzo with the knife Luca said whatever your enemy start you finish which enzo didn't listen to in the end. Let's not forget about that the studio had layoffs which are felt in the writing especially the later chapters. Before the mafioso's come at me these are things I noticed in my first playthrough some people starting to notice. Are their any other problems y'all saw?

I’m sorry but Isabella has been irritating me lowkey the entire game and Im not even finished yet 😭😂 I’m at the part where Isabella tells Enzo that she’s pregnant (I knew it!!) But! It’s like…she doesn’t seem to understand the position Enzo is in. Like girl…He can’t just leave. SHE probably can but he cannot!! He got brought in and accepted into the family/mafia. She not part of it but kind of is only because she’s Torrisi’s daughter. She wants her and Enzo to go run off somewhere and only it be their little family and start a new life together. But baby, that’s bot how this works 🤦🏽‍♀️ He literally has to do everything the Don says or else him and his men will MURDER HIM!!! They’ll see him as a traitor!!!

Am I wrong? Let me know what you guys think, Im open to other opinions on this but OMG this girl is irritating me with this. Despite everything, If Enzo and Isabella don’t end up together I am going to be livid 😂

I’m trying to get the mafia trilogy… especially since you can’t get mafia 2 by itself… you have to have the trilogy. But it’s $60 right now.. and can’t find it too much cheaper on eBay, etc right now.

Some of the sites say they give you accounts with the games on it.. I guess since PlayStation doesn’t really have a key for this game? I’m not sure

Last night, I popped the Platinum Trophy The Old Country.

For me, the game as a whole was the weakest story in the franchise. That isn’t to say I didn’t like the game or its characters, I most certainly did but was left disappointed overall.

I am happy I was able to finish the trophy list.

Time to trade the game in and move on. I offer patience to those who tackle the Platinum. It isn’t difficulty by any means, just very tedious.

I am on my 2nd play through now and I noticed Isabella leaves Enzo notes randomly. Like there was one about a book club? Are there more of those, do I need to do anything about the book club thing?

I was playing chapter 7 of the game and i found the car race to be so hard (forgive me im a terrible driver) so i replaced my save file with that of 100% completed save file and now when i play the chapter replays i cant save in it , everytime if i quit in middle it goes back to start new chapter from the replay , does anyone have the save file where there is option to continue from chapter 10 or is there any fix for this :(

I am about to start Mafia III and i saw post about trophies from years ago that you need to complete the game in one session without turning off the playstation or the game, is that still a thing or is it fixed?

I'm playing mafia old the country on ps5 and in some cinematics I notice a lot of fps drops but some in an exaggerated way. Is it normal?
