Serato sample is good. Maybe wait until Black Friday for sale. Try to be more creative when sampling. Deep digging is the key.

FL Studio is good for vocals and drum stems, doesn’t separate other instruments. The best I’ve tried so far for other instruments is RipX but it’s hit and miss.

I will try it but I heard logic is a beast

Logic does a good job 🔥

Yeah, most stem tools either need a strong PC (like Restem) or end up glitchy. I’ve been using a browser based stem splitter lately, it handles vocals/instrumentals well enough for demos without frying my laptop. Way easier than setting up Logic just for stems

Splitting drums cleanly is harder than vocals/instrumentals. You could try running it twice with different models and then blend surprisingly, sometimes the kicks that get “missed” in one version show up in the other.

Idk if youre trying to get all instruments separated, I haven't used anything for that. But for drums/bass/vocals/other, I used to use RX7, and after Serato Sample added that functionality I started using that. Both were fine for what I needed. Haven't tried the built in FL one yet.

I don't think there's something like that in fl

i use a subscription based one and i like the imperfectness of it (most of the time) because sometimes frequencies get left in, like if im trying to sample a gang starr break and premiere is scratching over it, some of that scratching will get left in the break, adding more uniqueness and texture into what im trying to isolate

i've noticed the outcomes dependly greatly on how the song was mixed and made. so many innovations in music are made due to new technonolgy, so im trying to take advantage of it while it's still newish before it becomes "too clean". like how people today are trying to create the sound of early sampling equipment or synths, maybe in a few years they will be like "how do i create that early stem separation sound?" lmao

Logic Pro algorithm is the best I’ve discovered so far

I have MPC stems but that’s a hit or miss in terms of quality and working around it. Serato Sample seems to be the best for this.

Besides Logic, the Demucs algorithm works best. You can get in a free tool, Ultimate Vocal Remover 5 (UVR 5). It's cross platform and if you have an Apple or Nvidia GPU it can use that instead of the CPU which is much faster.
