Recommendations Malta

Hi all, I've got some friends visiting in September and October and I'm looking for recommendations of wholesome activities we can do that don't involve boats.

Sadly these are all too boat related (we have someone with a boat fear in the group).

Do an escape room - I recommend the one in Ta Qali, especially Junglemanji or the Forbidden Castle. https://www.canyouescapemalta.com/rooms/

You could combine it with a trip to Mdina (I guess ideally before), and afterwards I'd head somewhere nearby for tea (Josephine at Corinthia if you're fancy, Jalie's if you're not) or dinner at Rani (Indian) in Lija, or any band club in Attard/Balzan/Lija for a more local dinner.

No watersports:

Do other people in the group still want to swim in the sea?

You can do some hikes with fantastic views: (where people have the opportunity to swim if they want to)

-Ghar Lapsi to Hagar Qim

-Bahrija to Dingli Cliffs

-Golden Bay to Popeye Village

-Ghadira Bay to the Red Tower

Walk in the country side? There's the Victoria Lines trail if they are into that. Maybe go for a day in Gozo or visit the old temples in Malta, some Heritage sites, walk around Valletta, get a boat (over in 5 minutes promise) to the Three Cities, walk around the 3 cities... you get the gist.

Just make sure to usher them to the airport at the end of their visit and that they get on the plane.
