Sixth Form: JC vs SAC

Which sixth form is better... Junior College or St. Aloysius? I'd appreciate if students can share their experiences, positive and negative. I'm having a hard time deciding between the two.

Junior College if you want a university experience

St. Aloysius 2 more years of secondary school.

A levels can be tough, SAC will prepare you for it, JC will too but youre alot more likely to skip lessons coz. “86% of students who finish compulsory education begin post‑secondary education, approximately 44% do not go on to tertiary education.”

So it will feel like its okay to do but its not

Whilst University is not that tough its just more topics

SAC will keep you motivated and working hard. You're going to be running with the best students, so you're going to have to keep your game up constantly. Later on, these contacts will serve you very well. It's also very fun.

At Junior College, you're more likely going to run into mediocre and disinterested students, and if those types end up being your main circle of friends, take my word for it, you will be dragged down to their base level and your progress will suffer. The "university experience" is absolute bogus rubbish and I give it no value. The university experience can be had at University, the "independence" is overrated. People call it independence, it's actually a lack of structure.

Before anyone says I'm being elitist, I went to JC. My peers that went to SAC later in life (20s) were ahead and I needed to work way harder eventually to catch up again because I was caught up with a crowd that gave little importance to career/education. You think they won't drag you down, but they will - there are studies on this apparently, none that I can cite though.

SAC if you want to be considered part of the elite later on, JC if you know you don't need school anyway cos you're set for life and value the Pulse vs SDM yearly drama and have some kind of game with women/men.

De la Salle if you can't decide.
