Discussion shoutout to the dude using an eBay bot to snipe Memphis tapes
this one dude has to be using a bot to bid on literally every fucking tape that gets listed. this happens every time i bid against him and i drop my bids 1-2 seconds before each listing ends. there's no fucking way it's not a bot

Discussion "Who's The Master?" More like "Where's The Master?" (Freak Master/FM)
I've been fascinated with Freak Master (FM)'s Who's The Master? album for awhile now. Does anyone happen to have the original tape shown in the pic? Also, any info on the Roll It Up! cassingle would be highly appreciated as well! Thanks! 😁

Discussion brazil phonk killed memphis revival
i hate how phonk has been associated with Brazilian music and people call it "funk" instead of phonk, dont even get me started on drift phonk or russian phonk producers

Audio Lootchasers ft. Playa Fly, "Daily Living" off of A Million Ain't Enough (Prod. by EZ Rock) [1999]
Shout out to STREET MONEY MAKERS for uploading this classic banger 🔥.
"Daily Living" is the 5th track and one of the hit singles off of The Lootchasers' 1999 album A Million Ain't Enough. The song features Playa Fly and was produced by EZ Rock (not to be confused with NY DJ E-Z Rock of Rob Base & E-Z Rock).
The Lootchasers was a group out of the Scutterfield projects in North Memphis that was comprised of Chrome, Lil Shank, Bugsy, Low Down (not to be confused with the 4 other rappers with the same name), Young L.E and The Enterprise.
Prior to this album, Chrome & Lil Shank had a duo tape in 1994 that is now currently lost. After the release of this album, Chrome & Shank would release Daily Living in 2000 and Chrome would be signed by Juicy J and DJ Paul in 2005.

Discussion Caught Up is Definitely a Song That Makes me Tear Up
It's a song that you'd have to understand what I was going through when I first heard it to understand why it makes me feel the way I do.
Also, R.I.P Dwight Payne (Lil Slim).

Audio Manson Family - Shake Sumin (1998) (Fixed Upload) OG w/ Koke & Freaky Reece
Thanks to Medicine Man for the raw unedited rip. The official reissue sadly didn't have this song remastered (very likely because Street Smart owns the master), but heres the next best thing, an original tape rip.
