This company trying to advertise their marketing & brand design agency didn’t even bother to proof their AI image.

Bad AI image and they misspelled ‘Engagement’. Two reasons they leave something to be desired as a marketing company.

This is the absolute best they can do as they're advertising themselves. I would be grateful they put this out before I mistakenly hired them.

No, I think they meant engagment. It's what everyone does when they see that AI image

We might as well just get used to it. As someone who recently needed to hire a marketing agency, this is FAST becoming the norm. Many aren’t even trying to hide it - they think it’s a selling point.

No, they're right. They strap their workers to chairs and put ball gags in their mouths to reduce the screaming while they work.

Dang. I just replied the same thing and saw you beat me to it by a couple of hours. Take my upvote.

They're a marketing agency and they put this out there as an example of their work, in public?
Don't censor it.

But what if it's a deliberate strategy to get people to spread their ad for free?

u/sgtsausagepants 13h ago
I really don't see them getting many clients with work this shitty, regardless.

But they would probably at least get some from people who see it and think it's genius. Even if it wasn't intentional, which is unlikely given how dumb you would have to be to let this slip past, they could just claim it was to potential clients who ask them about it

It's sad how AI has become synonymous with producing a creative vision on the cheap. People who do not understand creativity, balance and form, they just approach a problem as "I can do this cheaply with AI". Let them reap what they sow, I'm sure their bosses can find an AI that can do their job.

“Everything begins with an idea.”
Like, “a child superhero whose power is that their head is on backwards”

It's always good when idiots introduce themselves before you get your hopes up.

They're not "trying to advertise", they're doing it. I can see it right in the picture, that's an advertisement.

Some kids like to wear them backwards, I know my kids do and have seen other children also wear them backwards, kids will be kids.

I mean, it got you talking about them and sharing it. Maybe it worked exactly as intended

I mean its showing how us how cheap the company is, They're a marketing firm and cant even afford people to make marketing materials, or check over them to ensure they are actually good.
Its a really good advertisement as to why you shouldn't use them. Sure it gets people talking about them, but its all gonna be negative, Which is normally the opposite of what companies want.

Oh don't get me wrong, I wouldn't use them. But it gets the name out there and I know people that will pick businesses just based off of they have heard of them before.

Its just a small business so they're not the devil for wanting to save a little cash

I get what you’re saying, but even setting the lazy, not well done, AI image aside, they couldn’t proofread their own ad enough to catch all the typos, why should I expect them to do better for my ad?

u/The-Copilot 21h ago
If it was any other small business, then sure, I'd agree, but it's wild that a marketing business would have such bad marketing.
