This company trying to advertise their marketing & brand design agency didn’t even bother to proof their AI image.

You’re telling me not a single person noticed the backwards cape??

u/notbehindyoumaybe 1d ago

My husband and I have been arguing over whether the cape is backwards or the child’s head. Either way, how did no one catch this before they blew it up!?

From the hands it looks like the cape is backwards

87

u/budius333 1d ago

From the hands also looks like too many fingers

42

u/xGoatfer 1d ago

He's just polydactyl.

D I V E R S I T Y

3

u/trekqueen 5h ago

Yea the AIs never seem to handle hands and fingers well.

9

u/skreetinator 21h ago

What do you mean thumbs go on the back?

6

u/quinn_logan 18h ago

Now I went and’s looked at his hands. Those are some freaky ass hands!

43

u/Right-Phalange 1d ago

It's worse than just AI. It's AI and stolen from better AI image (where the cape is on correctly).

9

u/Reddit_being_Reddit 1d ago

Absolutely great find, but is it just an assumption that the image in your link was created first?

7

u/D_Luffy_32 23h ago

Looks more like a cloak than cape to me. Especially since it's bunched up at the top like that. Think of like a rogues cloak which looks more like a giant scarf

2

u/Derknas4 18h ago

Team cape for sure; hands, legs, body, all of him is facing the same way.

2

u/Dryer-Algae 4h ago

It's clearly the single idea, let's put a cape on backwards and try to viral,, keeps your front warm and your farts free

1

u/Academic-Fruit8550 20h ago

There shouldn’t even be an argument. If you know basic autonomy, the cape is backwards

1

u/quinn_logan 18h ago

Huh…. Would you look at that. Hmm

8

u/zman0900 22h ago

everything begins with an idea

Well, they didn't say it was a good idea...

8

u/SanDiegoThankYou_ 23h ago

I was too busy looking at Employee “Engagment” to notice the cape lol

1

u/bunnyguts 13h ago

You have to wonder what kind of service this is. I admit it sounds like it might be fun.

2

u/KriegerClone02 14h ago

It's obviously a bib; he's probably getting a haircut. /s

2

u/CharBarZG 1d ago

Clearly a hooded cloak

1

u/cyrusthemarginal 7h ago

tummy capes!

Bad AI image and they misspelled ‘Engagement’. Two reasons they leave something to be desired as a marketing company.

u/Sohn_Jalston_Raul 1d ago

You have some problem with employee engagment? lol

30

u/StarsBear75063 Really? 1d ago

Ball gags or just a traditional dirty rag? 😖

17

u/Klimmit 22h ago

Employee ENGAGMENT

11

u/Right-Phalange 1d ago

This is the absolute best they can do as they're advertising themselves. I would be grateful they put this out before I mistakenly hired them.

18

u/notbehindyoumaybe 1d ago

Wow I didn’t even notice that. So bad 😩

8

u/Aethenosity 1d ago

No, I think they meant engagment. It's what everyone does when they see that AI image

2

u/LittleDogTurpie 7h ago

We might as well just get used to it. As someone who recently needed to hire a marketing agency, this is FAST becoming the norm. Many aren’t even trying to hide it - they think it’s a selling point.

1

u/Nevermore_Novelist 23h ago

No, they're right. They strap their workers to chairs and put ball gags in their mouths to reduce the screaming while they work.

53

u/mattgran 1d ago

Not all heroes wear snuggies

4

u/Adept_Speaker4806 21h ago

Dang. I just replied the same thing and saw you beat me to it by a couple of hours. Take my upvote.

46

u/javon27 1d ago

And what about the fact that we have a child standing on the ledge of a very tall building, and "everything begins with an idea"?

6

u/Odd-Crazy-9056 14h ago

To be fair, they never claimed the idea to be good.

21

u/Mingeneer 1d ago

Lol i wouldn't hire them

34

u/sgtsausagepants 22h ago

They're a marketing agency and they put this out there as an example of their work, in public?

Don't censor it.

3

u/DoraaTheDruid 13h ago

But what if it's a deliberate strategy to get people to spread their ad for free?

1

u/sgtsausagepants 13h ago

I really don't see them getting many clients with work this shitty, regardless.

1

u/DoraaTheDruid 13h ago

But they would probably at least get some from people who see it and think it's genius. Even if it wasn't intentional, which is unlikely given how dumb you would have to be to let this slip past, they could just claim it was to potential clients who ask them about it

1

u/the-boogedy-man 8h ago

Unfortunately they will

19

u/wkarraker 1d ago

It's sad how AI has become synonymous with producing a creative vision on the cheap. People who do not understand creativity, balance and form, they just approach a problem as "I can do this cheaply with AI". Let them reap what they sow, I'm sure their bosses can find an AI that can do their job.

u/_TeaWrecks_ 1d ago

Almost Tetsuo.

5

u/Anonymous_altoidz 1d ago

Its not a cape, its a bib

3

u/p_luisa 23h ago

Employee engagment lol they clearly don't care about the quality of their work. Unfortunately some people won't notice and will pay for their shitty work.

3

u/yogalawyer 18h ago

You call that a hand? Somewhere a lobster is looking for its claws.🦞✨

1

u/No_Bake6681 10h ago

And it's powering up!

2

u/ChanglingBlake ORANGE 23h ago

“Everything begins with an idea.”

Like, “a child superhero whose power is that their head is on backwards”

2

u/Neripheral 22h ago

It's always good when idiots introduce themselves before you get your hopes up.

2

u/Logical_Sandwich_625 19h ago

It's "The Great Dumbing Down of Society"!

2

u/ChunkyMonkey_00_ 15h ago

Zooming in on the left hand is what causes nightmares.

2

u/PieMuted6430 PURPLE 14h ago

It's not a cape, it's a snuggie. 🤣

2

u/Think_Display4255 3h ago

That is remarkably bad

1

u/Highchest_Heavyfoot 1d ago

It's a cardigan, duh!

1

u/Adept_Speaker4806 21h ago

Not all superheroes wear Snuggies.

1

u/PinkAcrobelle 21h ago

I know exactly where that is.

1

u/notbehindyoumaybe 1h ago

I’m embarrassed that kids see this every day

1

u/Important-Aerie-5408 21h ago

“Employee engagment”

1

u/alienwalk 21h ago

So ironic that it's an advertising agency lol

1

u/Massive_Mongoose3481 20h ago

Engagment makes it sound like a Trump company . That's a snuggie

1

u/Sorry_Apartment_6085 20h ago

They're not "trying to advertise", they're doing it. I can see it right in the picture, that's an advertisement.

1

u/Small_Put_4397 19h ago

Some kids like to wear them backwards, I know my kids do and have seen other children also wear them backwards, kids will be kids.

1

u/Intelligent_Term5528 14h ago

other than the cape, look at the hands

1

u/loaderboy1 9h ago

Hospital gown

1

u/Good_Zookeepergame92 5h ago

You mean you're not a front caper?

1

u/SuccessfulWrangler3 3h ago

It’s a front cape to cover their front bum

1

u/y0elevenz 1h ago

Not like they re gonna win or anything!

-4

u/Fit-Description-8571 1d ago

I mean, it got you talking about them and sharing it. Maybe it worked exactly as intended

21

u/Jam_Herobrine 1d ago

I mean its showing how us how cheap the company is, They're a marketing firm and cant even afford people to make marketing materials, or check over them to ensure they are actually good.

Its a really good advertisement as to why you shouldn't use them. Sure it gets people talking about them, but its all gonna be negative, Which is normally the opposite of what companies want.

-1

u/Fit-Description-8571 1d ago

Oh don't get me wrong, I wouldn't use them. But it gets the name out there and I know people that will pick businesses just based off of they have heard of them before.

0

u/Icy-Pop-6900 1d ago

Its just a bib shaped as a cape

-18

u/Dahren_ 1d ago

Its just a small business so they're not the devil for wanting to save a little cash

7

u/GardenTop7253 1d ago

I get what you’re saying, but even setting the lazy, not well done, AI image aside, they couldn’t proofread their own ad enough to catch all the typos, why should I expect them to do better for my ad?

5

u/The-Copilot 21h ago

If it was any other small business, then sure, I'd agree, but it's wild that a marketing business would have such bad marketing.

5

u/GmGwain 23h ago

That's a forced devil's advocate though. You had money for that place so you got money for a person to spend 5 minutes of their work hour to look at the AI you are hiring.
