[Request] Anything similar to this?
Medium-circular island near ocean with mountains close?

You’ll have to terraform a bit for the waterfall.

If it still works haven’t tried since 1.21

Yo dude, I tried that seed just now, and there were like 4 different villages surrounding the lake!(none with blacksmiths though)
Also, one of them was on top of a plateau and had a pillager outpost too

u/Sensitive_Wallaby 2d ago
Yes it’s a cool seed! The one with mountains side #1 I think, is where I was thinking the waterfall could be

Reminds me of a gamepass game called kingdoms and castles, check it out!

I was taking in all the detail and noticed how impossible it was to get that ship into the river and can't unsee it.

This is how big i think villages should be
37
u/Ser_Optimus 2d ago
YES! make them more rare but bigger!
26
u/biohumansmg3fc 2d ago
Structures need a size update (except woodland mansions and ruined portals)
They just feel something left to be desired
18
u/Yuna_Nightsong 2d ago
Yes, I'm bored and tired of stumbling upon only small villages. I want Minecraft to also generate towns and cities in various sizes.
2
u/Gatti366 1d ago
Nah leave villages as they are and add a new structure called cities that is much rarer but bigger with medieval walls and unique villagers inside with dedicated buildings
2
u/biohumansmg3fc 1d ago
Nah villages in minecraft and many older structures are too small
Villages don’t feel like villages at all they feel more like a small tribe in size
Villages should atleast double-quadruple in size
Towns is double-triple villages and city is quadruple to infinite in size
They should also increase sizes for strongholds, ancient cities, especially desert temples, and pretty much most structures except wells can kinda stay the same so can ruined portals but ruined portals can get a larger variant and mansions should stay the same
1
u/Gatti366 19h ago
holy please not strongholds, those things are already enough of a pain to navigate, no need to make it even more of a slog
1
u/biohumansmg3fc 12h ago
I would say make them more linear instead of a maze
The entrance is located in ground level but it’s only revealed if the eye of ender flies near it,
the deeper you go the harder it is to get to the portal room with more mobs
Portal room is protected by a single end crystal which you need to break to reveal the portal plus a bunch of spawners

The terrain looks player made

u/Bigboyjoe420 3d ago
It is player made, but they are after a seed that has something that looks similar to it.

I thought OP was joking. They would have to do some bit of terraforming to get it to look close to that.

u/Ok_Acanthisitta1622 2d ago
Realize that when you say “it” you’re referring to the near infinite expanse of Minecraft seeds, where there’s absolutely many that look similar to this.

u/PopehatXI 2d ago
There are a lot of seeds for sure, but this picture is looks heavily terraformed. I’d suggest OP just finds a mountain they like, and then create the river themselves out of a relatively flat area.

it's actually AI, if you pay close attention to some of the bridges you'll see they simply aren't made of blocks and follow a straight line while being diagonal, and there are some houses that are on diagonals while not having the block edges on the side.

Noticed it immediately. Some block edges are longer than others, especially obvious where the sand meets the water at the bottom of the island.

even mc screenshots are ai generated now

How could you tell?

u/L0rd_Sp7 2d ago
theres always a unique look with ai images, but if you want to make sure, just zoom in. For this specific image you can see how blocks are offgrid, turned in impossible ways, sometimes melting into eachother. It has gotten way more difficult to spot them recently, but in some images, it's still relatively easy to spot.

Wow, I honestly wouldnt have noticed if I didnt read your comment, AI's getting to the point that it's scary

Don’t think that’s vanilla generation

u/siggyxlegiit 3d ago
I think they’re just trying to find something similar (or as close as possible), it doesn’t have to look exactly like that

Would be fun to also make a Tenochtitlan in the middle of the Mexican lake with all the causeways.

u/YoucancallmeWakeup 2d ago
For everyone asking for the map, it's AI, look at the bridge bottom left, the house middle all the way at the bottom and the boat just above it, it's rotated without blocks giving it the angle

I don't like how the wall connects to the front of the tower... Towers should stick out in front of the wall and they have every other section but that one xD

By the way, can you share this map?

There is a mod called tectonic that just uses vanilla blocks to redo the world gen. You can get pretty similar stuff if you get the settings right

u/Mango-Vibes 2d ago
If you are going to spend that much effort building this, I'm not sure it would be too difficult to get a seed to do this. Plains, few mountains and ocean

Unrelated but this looks like the place Re:Zero season 3 took place just in a way smaller scale.

u/Kalabajooie 2d ago
How did that ship closest to the bottom get in there? All of the bridges are too low for its mast.

u/Laserlurchi 2d ago
It's a lake, but maybe that's enough for your purposes? otherwise you can always terraform it into more water, I guess...

All you need is a river running through part of it and it's every isekai city ever.

It would be cool to have villages this size and more variations of npc to interact with

you just need to find any old bay... adding the island in there is a small task compared to building the village
