Événement Astrology Meetup in Montreal on July 20th!

Join our friendly and engaging astrology group! We gather once a month on St. Denis to explore all things astrological—everyone is welcome, from beginners to seasoned enthusiasts.

Our meetings take place at Resto Vego, 1720 Saint Denis St, Montreal, Quebec H2X 3K6, just a 5-minute walk north of Metro Berri-UQAM. It's starts at 1pm and lasts until 4pm (and sometimes beyond!).

Well, you'd be wrong. You seem really close-minded. Not just because you have beef with a random spiritual belief system. It seems like your general outlook is pretty closed off and uninterested in new or contradicting information.

Oh no, I'm super open minded, it's good to be open minded. Just not so open your brain falls out.

All you have to do for me to change my mind is provide me with some good evidence for the specific claims astrology makes.

So I await your well researched, peer reviewed, preferably published rigorous scientific paper that proves the claims of astrology right.

I believe that we can observe the positions of the celestial bodies and the concurrent historical events and note patterns that have repeated throughout history in order to predict what may happen in the future. For example, the United States is always at war whenever Uranus is in the sign of Gemini. Therefore you can say with some certainty that the United States will likely find itself in another war within the next 7 years because Uranus just entered the sign of Gemini this week and will be there for about the next 7 years.

To what end? Its a spiritual belief system based on Hellenistic deities and astronomy. People use it for self reflection and to plan events, to cope with the chaotic nature of the universe. Its not a scam any more than any other framework to understand the unknowable.
