Labour Day, is public pianos still available

Are they still open, or do the workers not show up to open them as part of labour day. Sorry if this seems like a dumb question

For the record, what did you mean by "opening the pianos"? The public pianos that I've seen are usually covered by some sort of shelter and are accessible by anyone at all times. Please explain; I'd like to understand your question.
