First time camping on the Royal Enfield!
Not too bad of a trip, considering I only had a milk crate. Even managed to pack some tackle, a fishing rod and a book! Quite relaxing!

Fantastic stuff! Don't skimp on the sleeping pad, you need comfort and insulation. I also take a small folding chair...

I didn't realise, I also have a small table, my first motocamp? I was using a small canvas bivvy, a thin foam rubber pad and a cloth sleeping bag. I took dried fruit for food. I was 17 and the year was 1978. My last Motocamp? I was riding my Fatboy about two months ago.... With all the bells and whistles...

A table would be a huge help. The site I visited this time had picnic tables, but that won't always be the case. I just need to refine my gear selection and possibly get some Saddlebags for more packing space.

Personally, I like soft saddlebags if I woods camping, but hard bags if I am staying in motels etc, as they have better security in the city...
Get large ones, very large, water proof inner bags are essential.

Good shit. The wind screen is certainly an interesting look.
Every trip is a learning experience to work out what you do and don't need. Keep at it!

Pro tip: get yourself a kick stand puck or even a bit of wood for soft surfaces like grass/sand/gravel.
Hate to wake up in the morning with the dew and the soils gone soft and your bike is on the floor :(

Is that a leather windshield?
