My OP1 8K V2 feels a bit small for my hand at times, and I’ve been leaning toward ergonomic shapes, even though I’ve never used one before. Don’t get me wrong, the mouse is fantastic. The shape works well for claw grip, but the size isn’t right for me. I get the sense I’d prefer an ergo mouse over an ambidextrous one. For context, I play CS2, and the cable on the OP1 8K V2 has also started to bother me.
When I click the mouse once, the right click treats it as a double click function, as when I download something, I accidently download the tihng twice.
The click rarely does not register to the screen, when i play rainbow six siege (fps game) the mouse will not let me shoot my gun sometimes but when I click it a lot it will make me treat an assault rifle as a jammed semi-auto weapon.
When I press rly hard on the right click button and use my precious lips and braethe to blow into the mouse, it makes it temporarily work for like 30 minutes, but goes back to registering 1 click as 2 clicks and not registering clicks at all.
Anyone own this mouse and have this problem where if the mouse is still when you start moving it again there is a delay? its super odd ive updated the firmware twice since owning it. I love this mouse otherwise. Happens on normal and "zone" mode. Power saving on or off doesnt change anything making sure its not an issue with my unit.
Need helps from expert ....
I have really very small hand size, currently using Scyrox V8 & previously used G102, Viper Mini, Darmoshark M3S & Razer Cobra Wired. Also used GPX,GPX2 for 2 weeks, it's too much big for me & feel like much heavier to me.
Main problem is many times I feel inconsistant & shaky in my aim. While using GPX, I feel more consistant but I need higher sensitivity for swipes and after 1/2 hours I feel pain in my wrist. I never ever feel pain in wrist with lower-front mouse like G102, Viper Mini, Darmoshark M3S, Scyrox V8.
Never tried any Ergo mouse before. Anyone using Razer Deathadder V3 Pro / V4 Pro with really small hand size and feels totally comfortable with it. Please share your experience.
Edit1: Sorry, Forgot to mention my grip style. Relaxed claw grip & hold my mouse softly.
I have the lamzu thorn 4k rn and i like it but there are some things i dont. I have medium to large hands and i would like something around the same weight if possible but not as tall of a hump it makes my hand cramp and i could even be longer.
Currently have the Lenovo Legion M200 mouse from like 4-5 years ago. I modded it and removed its internal weight along with the hard-plastic casing which was shaved off. Went from about 150g to about 70-80g.
Thought of going for VXE R1 Pro since I heard good reviews of it and is being sold at a rather cheap price in my country (IN) at around 50 USD (4350 INR).
However, I would love to know your suggestions since I happen to be rather new in the field. Don't really play many FPS or high polling rate requiring games, more of a casual gamer. I could go for bluetooth but I would rather it atleast have a switch-to-wired option if possible. I would not be travelling much with the mouse so wired is also an equally likely option for me depending on the price.
My Viper Mini is apparently on its last legs. It has been randomly disconnecting occasionally, which makes gaming stressful, knowing I'm at its mercy from sabotaging my games. My budget is around 30~40$, I live in Malaysia, so that's like RM120~170, which is a lot from where I'm from. So I'd preferably be looking for a 30$ range mouse to purchase during the next Shopee sale.
Hand size - 19 x 9.5cm
Claw Grip, right-handed
Preferably a lighter mouse, considering the last 2 mice I've used were the aforementioned Viper Mini (61g) and the Logitech G102 (85g).
I've actually heard a lot of great things about the Vxe R1, but I'd still like to get second opinions nonetheless.
I have a naga v1. from like 12 years ago that I love. I have tried a few mice over the years. a Corsair, that was too big, the newer naga that doesn't feel very good. does anyone know of a mouse that's about the same size/feel as the first naga that has at least 6 or so button on the side. I have medium hands but prefer a smaller mouse.
ive had the g102 mouse for a while now ive been wanting to change it to a wireless mouse and my friend recommended either the atk a9 plus or the vxe r1 pro or normal one i wanna know which one is going to fit my hand better my hand measures around 19-19.5 in length and 9.5-10 in width
I want to buy a mouse with these characteristics to work with.
The redragon m916 pro costs €38 and the steelseries rival 3 costs €28. My question is: Is it worth spending €10 more on the redragon? Is there much difference between the two?
it genuinely hurts me to look for mice, because there's just way too much out there right now. I swear there's mice that are 1g lighter coming out every week and it's practically impossible to keep up with what is actually good or not, especially because I genuinely just don't care about having the "lightest mouse" as like 10-20g heavier than the lightest is basically impossible for me to notice. I also kind of just don't want to buy another logitech mouse because even though things like infinite scroll are a godsend, I literally removed the bindings for the side buttons and haven't really used them in years. Another pain point when I'm buying mice is that my hands are decently larger than most mice people normally recommend, which causes my ring finger and pinky finger to drag on my mousepad and I have to grip my mouse in a really uncomfortable way to get around that. Screw rgb, can literally never see it when my hand is on the mouse, and it just drains battery life for no reason.
I use palm grip, as I'm pretty sure my fingers are trying to detach themselves from my hand whenever I try to claw grip. Please for the love of god don't tell me to buy a basilisk v3 or nightsword rgb, I don't even want half the features of those mice, it's just that the shape of the g502 is potentially appealing and it has infinite scroll, but other than that, there's nothing there for me.
I’ve been thinking about something nostalgic: the old-school ball mouse. You know, before optical and laser took over—when you had that satisfying rolling ball underneath.
My idea is to bring it back, but with modern features:
Plug-and-play via USB .
Same retro ball mechanism for that tactile feel.
Updated casing (retro look or translucent 90s vibe).
Higher build quality than the cheap ones from the past.
This would be aimed at retro tech lovers, collectors, or just people who miss that unique mouse feel.
Questions for you:
Would you actually buy something like this if it existed?
What price range would you expect (I’m thinking $40–$80)?
Any design ideas you’d love to see (colors, shapes, limited editions)?
I’m considering reaching out to manufacturers to see if this could be produced, but I’d love feedback first.

I will preface this review by saying I applied to review this mouse but have had no financial incentive given to me besides the mouse. I did receive the mouse for free in exchange for this review. This does not change my take on the mouse. I was interested in trying this mouse since I occasionally get irritation from normal mice or during activities such as dirt biking or aim training. Images will be at the end of the review!
Mouse Specs:
2.4G Wireless and Bluetooth
1000/1600/2400 DPI steps
500 mAh battery
119g
Initial Impressions:
The ProtoArc EM11 NL has a solid build and the packaging is great. The mouse is well packaged and you get everything you would need to get started with the mouse if you had nothing. There is a charging cable, dongle, and short instructions in the box. I was impressed by the attention to detail right off the bat. The packaging also isn't obnoxious overkill like somethings in this day and age. The mouse’s vertical design is something I have wanted to try before as I have used many traditional mice and prototype joystick style mouse. The surface of the mouse feels smooth and is very comfortable to the touch, with a slight rubbery finish that enhances grip.
Once the mouse was in hand, I found the size to be a bit on the small side for my hands. Despite its ergonomic shape, my 21cm x 11cm hands felt a little cramped if I tried to bring the mouse back into my palm. I would either have my fingers overhang on one side or have the wrist support be in the wrong spot for my hand. From what I can tell and from what friends who tried the mouse told me, the shape works well if you have smaller and more averaged sized hands. I would say the size is perfect for people with medium to smaller hands.
General Review:
While using the mouse I used it in a fingertip style since it was too small for me to pull into my palm. This allowed me to still get a comfortable grip on the mouse that felt great. Vertical style mice are relatively new to me but I was able to get used to the position pretty quickly. After a few hours of use at work, I could tell that the mouse’s shape is definitely comfortable in this grip. I never noticed any type of fatigue or discomfort while using the mouse.
The mouse buttons and scroll are very normal to use and feel like any standard mouse that costs more than 60 bucks. They are mechanical and I never experienced in double clicking or unintended behavior. The sensor also behaved as normal. The mouse worked great in both connectivity modes as well. One thing that I did find annoying was the lack of precise DPI adjustment. I traditionally use 1600 DPI, so I was in luck, but there were several times I wished to use 800 but that was not an option. This could be easily fixed by including some software with the mouse. I'm not currently aware of any at time of this review and will post updates if I am corrected or it changes!
During my month+ use of the mouse I believe I have only charged it once or twice and I work roughly 30-40hrs a week with at least a quarter of that being computer work. I have no complaints about the battery life.
Overall Thoughts:
The ProtoArc EM11 NL is a unique offering with a focus on vertical ergonomics, but the size might not suit everyone, especially those with larger hands like mine. That said, I think this could be an excellent choice for people who prefer a fingertip grip or smaller hands in general. The ergonomic benefits are certainly there, and I’ll be using this at work for now, where a relaxed grip is perfect for light tasks.
I think the mouse has great potential, especially for those looking to reduce wrist strain during prolonged computer use. If you’re on the fence, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try if you fall into the “medium-to-smaller hands” category. I cannot claim it reduced those effects for me since I have learned to manage my symptoms with proper stretching, but it was comfortable and enjoyable to use.
Would love to hear others' thoughts and experiences with this mouse. Let me know if you have any questions!
Ive been using this mouse for about as long as ive been into computers, which is going on about 5 years now.
I really like the weight and shape of this mouse, and at this point ive become quite accustomed to it, so id like a recommendation similar to it. The only thing I'd ask is for it to not be Razer, as the software prompts can get a bit bothersome, lol.
Thank you in advance. There isnt exactly a budget, if that helps.
