Fred Hechinger, actor known for films such as Gladiator 2, Thelma, Nickel Boys, Kraven the Hunter, Hell of a Summer, The White Lotus (HBO), The Pale Blue Eyes, Eighth Grade, Vox Lux, and lots more, will be joining us here on /r/movies for an AMA/Q&A this upcoming Wednesday 8/27.

His newest film, Amazon's Preparation for the Next Life, is out in theaters starting September 5th. It co-stars Sebiye Behtiyar and is directed by Bing Liu (Oscar-nominated for Minding the Gap). They will also be joining him for the AMA.

A Uyghur woman moves to New York City where she finds herself laboring in Chinatown's underground kitchens. She fatefully encounters Skinner, a young American soldier who's just returned from three tours in the Middle East. As they start to fall in love, they discover the possibility of a better life together than the ones they believed they were destined to live alone.
