Best American rock band of all time

This is obviously a subjective post. As post suggest “all time” so feel free to go back to to the 50’s and please consider that bands from this millennium may not hold up in a couple decades. Also genre blending bands welcome.

Great debut album but didn’t have the staying power. If they’re your favorite that’s great but I don’t think they can compete for best

I agree. Boston is my all-time favorite album, but subsequent albums were lacking

Their first four albums were all great. Unfortunately they didn't catch on like the first, but they still had some solid hits like Don't Look Back, Amanda, and Cool the Engines.
