Best American rock band of all time

This is obviously a subjective post. As post suggest “all time” so feel free to go back to to the 50’s and please consider that bands from this millennium may not hold up in a couple decades. Also genre blending bands welcome.

'Jesus, Etc" took over my spotify algorithm for months and I can't stand it. Pls tell me that is their "Creep" and the rest of their music is better?

That is a decent comparison. I know it is one of their more popular songs, but it is one of my least favorite of theirs.
