Best American rock band of all time

This is obviously a subjective post. As post suggest “all time” so feel free to go back to to the 50’s and please consider that bands from this millennium may not hold up in a couple decades. Also genre blending bands welcome.

Fun fact: I saw CCR in ‘72, my son saw Fogerty in ‘22, a 50 year span!

You could’ve ended that where the comma began and it’d still be a very fun fact. Not a lot of people can say they saw the real band. They existed for like 4-5 years
