My etsy shop has done SO well this week and beyond my wildest dreams. I can't believe I'm saying that I am almost up to making $1k from it this week (maybe I'll hit it, still a few hours to go!) and I never could have imagined people would love my little stickers and magnets so much. I am SO grateful and it's such a fucking hooray for me since I was making like $20 from it last year and I was considering giving up. And the Murderino community has really shown up for me and been supporting my shop and I just love you guys 🥰

The magnet shown is something I stocked on Friday and that sold out by Saturday morning 😭 then shown are 2 days worth of orders!

Does anyone else remember Karen (I think) mentioning a case that was very similar to Jodi Huisentruit’s murder and speculating that it could be the same perpetrator? I feel like I’m going crazy- there’s a small chance it was on a different podcast, but I feel like I distinctly remember her voice . It’s not in the episode - I’m wondering if it’s in the episode about the other case but I can’t remember who that was . Thanks 🙏

I know this was in last week’s episode, but anyone else get a kick out of Georgia’s opinion of Sense and Sensibility? Colonel Brandon is Snape! I just love every time Karen talks about her love of Jane Austen/British shows, and of course I want to hear what Georgia thinks.

I admit that often the rewind episodes are background noise, but, early on there was an episode where they said they took a break because Georgia got married and Karens mom died, I don’t remember hearing that.

I just listened to this weeks episode and (I believe) in the original episode there was a big discussion about how you can’t say hobo and karen says why and georgie says because, and Karen says she needs a reason, but that’s all cut out.

Does anyone else remember this?

Hi All!! I’ll make this short and sweet. Today is my birthday! All my friends either bailed, or just literally didn’t answer/ghosted me when I invited them to join me in celebrating tonight. With more focus on the network, summer vacation, single episodes and quilt episodes plus this tour which they pushed hard; anyone else think it's the end? January 13th would mark 10 years, so makes sense they would start winding down now.

Hey y’all! I just found out I won’t be able to make the Oct 21 show and have 2 tix purchased already. All in I paid $242 for both, and Ticketmaster is only giving me the option to sell both for $73. This book both angered and fascinated me. On one hand it's impossible to imagine a diagnostic tool to collect specimens shouldn't be controversial but then I remember it's women who are mostly raped and in the 1970's law enforcement was mostly men.

The history of how the kit was created was surprising. It's a short read. I highly recommend this, it went in directions I didn't anticipate. It reminds me as a women to take nothing for granted.

Then I stumbled on this Netflix show Unbelievable. Completely randomly clicked on it and holy shit. I know this show is a few years old, but I've been out of the loop apparently. Based on a true story act a girl who was raped and not believed and forced into saying she lied.

This show has a stellar cast depicting bad ass female detectives. It sorta shows the other side of Rape reporting - the sterile, cold, multiple agencies repeating the same questions and really how the system is just broken when it comes to victims. Especially vulnerable victims.

This show brings up so many points about the system and biases is frustrating and angering but absolutely a must watch.

So random to come across both of these in a week. I have felt the universe pushing me to be a part of the good and maybe this is a sign.
