For those who never heard of them, trolls, or peikkos in finland, are creatures from danish, finnish and scandinavian folklores.

Trolls are creatures whose appearance can vary, but are, most of the time, described as being humanoid, large, ugly, strong, hairy, having a large nose, and tails. They live in the wilderness (like some other spirits like huldras, elves or nixies), but despite this, they are often rich and live in families or on their own. They are rarely friendly or helpful towards humans (especially christian ones), as they tend to be a threat for humans, and tend to kidnap unbaptised baby humans to remplace them by baby trolls. Trolls have a name that originally referred to a generic monster or evil being in norse mythology, but they are though to have various weaknesses, like lightning (which comes from myths about the god Thor), church bells (trolls are thought to hate the sounds of these objects), iron (as this metal can weaken them) and sunlight (which would transform them into stone).
