An voter should have a minimum level of awareness (about constitution, government system, rights/duties). Quality voters is what we lack in my opinion. I am not saying I am correct . Give your ideas . We don't have an highly literate* population. Literate* doesn't refer to just having ability to read and write.

Last year in Langtang, I woke before sunrise in a small village lodge. The valley was still dark, but the first light turned the peaks into glowing gold. It felt like the mountains were breathing with me.
Langtang is just a day from Kathmandu, yet it feels untouched — Buddhist villages, yaks under prayer flags, and light that transforms the landscape every hour.
This September (Sept 25 – Oct 1, 2025) I’m leading a small photography retreat there, focusing on both the trekking experience and capturing the valley through our lenses.
If you’re curious about photographing the Himalayas or want the details, DM me. And if you’ve shot in Nepal before, I’d love to hear about your favorite spots.

I recently came across this article and have been unable to locate any firsthand accounts or reviews online. I’m looking for a fashion designer in Nepal who has a strong understanding of clothing design for both men’s and women’s wear. The person should be able to create designs inspired by various international brands, and produce detailed clothing designs that, once approved, can be sent directly to the factory for manufacturing.

Is bachelor visa even a real thing ? I've tried googling and chatgpt but it says no such visa exists. Bachelor visa is a word that's thrown around a lot in Japanese consultancies but it seems its just a person getting working visa for a job in Japan , that's all.
OR, am i mistaken ?
My main point is, people in consultancies say that N4 level is enough BUT all the job vacancies i've seen in Gaijinpot, daijob and other sites, they all say N1 or at least N2 level is mandatory. which makes sense. Why would they hire people who can't understand their business terms/ language ?
Has Any Nepali here went to Japan to work in "Engineering" specifically with only N4 level ? And i'm not talking about super talented high skilled worker (10+ YOE). Lets say i'm average electronics engr/Software dev/mechanical engr. with 2 years of Experience . Is getting junior level job possible in Japan with N4 ?

Namaste. I’m looking for a place where I can either sew or customize raincoats in Kathmandu. Does anyone know of tailors, shops, or services that offer this? Any leads would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

One of our relative, 18 years Male, changed his behavior from last 4 weeks. talks himself, smiles with himself, talks unreal things. he drops personal care and daily routine now. We suspect the mental illness and need to admit him because we can not feed him medicines and can not control him. I heard about Steps to Care for good treatment, cheap among all private hospitals and good treatment outcomes. We can not admit him in Mental hospital lagankhel because no one is available to stay with him all the days. Can anyone tell me detail about Steps to Care?
