Recommendation Missing you?

Just started it yesterday because it was recommended to me, thought I’d like it because the Harlan Coben world is usually pretty good; but I’m also starting to feel like once you’ve seen a few, you’ve seen them all. It’s like the old Lifetime network with repeat actors and actresses, but for whatever reason, I just can’t get into this one. I’ll have to wait a bit and give it another shot. Idk if there’s too much going on, or if I’m not wild about the casting, I cant put my finger on it.

Spoiler: The dog breeder was catfishing rich people to kidnap them and steal their money. Yes, I just finished watching it (binged the last 3 episodes tonight) and this comment made me realize that I forgot that whole plot line. 😂 It was never clearly explained or wrapped up.

So, the victims were just random? And why did he need to kill them? And why did he need the money in the first place? I don't get it..

What don't you get?? he's a serial killer who wanted money. He targeted rich people. he didn't care if he just threw people in the fire. he's a criminal psychopath. he's evil.

Doesn't sound like a character with much depth.
