Was any testing done to confirm it was Brian's remains? I watched the series but didn't see any mention of that.

Yes, the FBI used dental records. It’s confirmed 100% to be him.

They should do DNA testing on the body… apparently he was identified via dental records and his uncle was his dentist (?) seems like an easy way to fake his death…

They did DNA testing. Didn't you learn about that at the same place you found that his dentist uncle somehow was involved?

I assume so but I don’t remember them mentioning it. It also says the skeleton was found a mile from the car but hadn’t they been searching that area for a month? Seems strange it would take them that long to find him if he’d been that close to the car all along.

I believe he was underwater for most of that time (the park was closed to the public because it was flooded). That’s why he was so badly decomposed.
