They should be charged with obstructing justice and blocking an investigation — they do not deserve to be living free and clear. They are appalling people …

I mean its not a crime to say you do not want to talk to the police , however the police should have at least detained Brian for questioning

Missing person, missing person car is at their home. That alone should be enough to detain someone for questioning . Now Brain may have just not talked but it would at least confirm Brian was there.

At that point they didn't even know if Brian was there, he was the main suspect and they never confirmed he was actually home? For all they knew he could have been half way to mexico and his parents were just claiming he was at home and did not want to talk

They at the very least should have confirmed Brian was in FL as he was obviously the main suspect

I am just saying if we have a missing person, and we now have video/phone evidence BL was with missing person around the time she went missing and BL has missing persons car, I wouldn't just take the "Trust me bro I saw him "

I would want to verify he was actually at his parents home and not half way to mexico

Just because Brian’s dad “said” he was there, does not mean he was ACTUALLY there. His dad could have been lying for Brian. Brian never himself actually came to the door.
