i watched this happen back in 2021 and now in 2024 just can’t fathom how insane his parents are. what horrible horrible people. His relationship with his mother seemed bizarre and Oedipal.

His parents are not mentally healthy but no weirder than a lot of families. What gets me is they messed up their son to the point where he murdered this young woman and could not even admit his guilt in the letter he wrote prior to killing himself. They really screwed their kids up. It would be nice if people thought more carefully about their fitness before they had kids. Not everyone ends up with a kid who’s a murderer but lots are messed up in similar ways. Just don’t expose a new generation to your neurosis please.
