I actually liked the first one because Charlize Theron is so good in action movies. This and Atomic Blonde. Wish she would do more movies like this. Looking forward to it.

And Mad Max.

Atomic Blonde was awesome for 15 minutes in the middle when there was action, the rest of the movie was very dry and difficult to get through.

Yay I’m glad they’re making a sequel

Only took them 5 years to do it but hey at least it's finally here well almost.

Haha yeah better late than never I suppose. I didn’t think they’d make another one

Well the post credit scene was indicative of the fact they wanted to but obviously without knowing if they would.

So am I! I just hope they don't fuck it up like they tend to do.

This movie looks aesthetically pleasing

It really is. None of that glossy overlay AI that almost ruined the last couple of Resident Evil movies for me.

I am curious what the explanation will be for her regaining her healing ability, assuming she does.

Literally thought about this film this morning.

I just saw a breakdown for the first movie, where they have modern rifle weapons + a weapon from their era. Charlie Theron character has that signature axe, and the others have swords from their time period. But what weapon does the newest member have to symbolize her era? Just a Ka Bar knife since she was a marine?

Booker didn't have a signature weapon either since he was from a time where guns existed already too lol

He could have had a French saber or a version of Napoleons dagger

My impression was that people used the weapons that they were most comfortable with. It never occurred to me to look for a deeper meaning.

A sequel to a movie I've completely forgotten about. Plot, characters, whatever.

Watching right now. It's ok. Pretty predictable, but most super hero movies are and I still like them lol. The acting is great.

I assume the girl who was under the sea for hundreds of years will come for her revenge?

Didn't she lose her immortality at the end of Part 1? how are they making a 2nd one with her in the lead?

the first one was such a letdown It's funny how many of these netflix action films fall flat. I think the Grayman was the biggest letdown with the russo brothers coming off the marvel films.

I think the only one I've liked is Extraction
