SPOILERS Unknown Number: What mental illness does Catfish Mom, Kendra Licari have? I have questions.. Spoiler

SPOILER ALERT: first, I’m really curious as to what mental illness Kendra Licari has. I have several family members with severe mental illness but I can’t figure this out…

It was so disturbing to learn what she did to her innocent daughter and her friends. But she was also obsessed with the boyfriend! And then we learn that she lied about having a job! And then we hear her skirt accountability blaming it on her trauma, and then we see how manipulative she is at every level. Like… I have questions. Weigh in on any:

  1. WTF did we just watch?
  2. What mentally illness do you think she has? And what makes you think that?
  3. Why was she fired?? We need a follow up on this. Sounds like Casey Anthony at Universal Studios..
  4. We’re all in agreement that she was obsessed with Owen right?
  5. HOW DID THIS PSYCHOPATH GET FREE IN 18 MONTHS?

  1. Why did she have access to email while she was in prison for cyber stalking?

AND WAS ABLE TO EMAIL THE PERSON (HER DAUGHTER) SHE WAS CYBER STALKING/BULLYING?!?

Yea now that you mention that wtf? She shouldn’t have access to that shit period! I can’t even fucking believe she’s outta prison either, she had such a light sentence compared to the trauma her daughter and the other kids will have to go through the rest of their lives. Excuse my language, but Kendra really bothered me after watching this.

It’s not real email. Many state prisons have inmate tablets that the inmates use to listen to music and there’s an email-style app that allows them to send messages back and forth with approved contacts (approved by the jail, and the contact has to accept the request as well). Both the inmate and the contact have to pay for each message they send, and it’s all fully 100% monitored by the prison. It’s actually very very common. But I 100% agree she absolutely should not have been allowed contact with the victim of her charges. It’s very clear that she’s not able to be around her not that she’s out on parole, but why was she allowed contact while in prison? I do not like that at all and I think it was very inappropriate and the messages she was sending to her daughter while in prison were very manipulative and love bomb-y, and it’s clear that that was intentional.

right? part of her punishment should be that she's unable to have unlimited internet access or a smart phone!

And that email being like “I’m mad at you cause you only said good night and didn’t say I love you :-(“ or something like that. Like woman WHAT? You told your daughter to kill herself and you play the voctim cause you didn’t like her farewell????

I was taken back by the fact that she was able to email her daughter specifically. The ones she sent gave me love bombing vibe.

This is very very strange. I’m wondering if she can be super charming in person? Must’ve manipulated her sentence in some way.
