Discussion Unknown Number High-school Catfish Spoiler

What the hell did I just watch? And what the hell was this person thinking?

I'm in shock that someone would do such a thing to their own child. And that she doesn't seem to have any focus on what she actually did.

The daughter didn't seem to grasp what her mother did when they told her but the father acted on it right away.

Was she totally jealous of her own daughter?

Right? How? Like how could anyone do that and how could anyone forgive her.

And the poor daughter manipulated into thinking she needed to be near her mom!!! They gave that psycho WAY too much screen time

My aunt catfished my cousin when we were in high school. She was also obsessed with her teenage boyfriend. It was absolutely CRAZY. My cousin and her mom went back to being BFFs fairly quickly. Watching this was surreal for me with how similar it was.

What! What is wrong with these people? Was your aunt anywhere near as bad as this woman?

Me too. That one family with the heavy bald guy and his wife laughing and blaming Lauryn (the child!) is absolutely disgusting. Literally laughing while blaming a child for being repeatedly attacked by her mother. Absolutely disgusting humans that are proud to have this in media forever. 🤮
